Coral is the Colour

If you know me you will know I adore coral makeup...If you don't, I adore coral makeup!!!

I am like a magpie if it has the word coral in it I will more than likely buy it!!!
Coral is such a versatile colour and used correctly will suit any skin tone given you find the right shade. I am lucky in that being a pale English rose most coral tones suit me so I don't have to be so careful in my choosing!!!

Here are a couple of my cute coral collection

Let me introduce me in to my favorite ever nail polish...elf fire coral
elf Fire Coral Nail Polish
With a medium consistency, and a perfectly sized applicator for the 3 stroke method (one down the middle and one down either side) this is perfect even for those of us with a not so steady hand when applying polish. It is highly pigmented and defiantly not for the faint hearted, in one coat you can get a really good coverage with no streaks, I love that if I'm in a rush I can do this however for staying power I recommend two coats and a top coat, also due to the pigmentation a base coat is essential if you don't want yellow nails when you remove it (who does!!!). I always use OPI start to finish for my base and top coat and my nails pretty much always last a week which is fantastic as I dislike the boring task of removing polish!!!

A new coral favorite of mine is an eyeshadow by Models Own it, This company is a new find of mine thanks to another makeup addicted friend. I have brought some nail polishes (five!!!) which I will be talking about in the future but for now back to the eyeshadow which is Metallic Coral
Models Own Metallic Coral Eyeshadow
This comes in a glass pot and is full to the brim with gorgeously pigmented eyeshadow!!! unfortunately it doesn't come with a sifter so I purchased some separately from ebay...Cheap as chips, this isn't necessary but I know I can be messy so I decided I would save my carpet and get some!!!

I used this the other day in a coral inspired look and it was perfect, supper pigmented and really easy to blend, I actually preferred to use my fingers for this product to pack it on. would you like a tutorial on this easy coral look??? Let me know.

I hope this blog has inspired you to catch the coral craze...Give it a go I think anyone can pull it off!!!

I feel really guilty that I haven't posted in such a long time!!!

I've had a few things going on, I wont go in to detail....But it's also me being lazy...

So anyway Ive decided that my top 10 changes far too often for me to continue on this path...I think sometimes it can take some time to find your blogging style, my subject is clear my style is still unknown to me so I will be trying out a few different styles, reviews maybe a tutorial here and there...A real mixture until I find the one thing that suits me best!!!

Number 8 Must Have

Hi guys so thought I wold post twice today to make up for my lack of daily blogs!!!

So my number 8 product is...elf candy shop lip gloss tins

I have these tins in several colours and keep them in bags, at work, in draws...Anywhere and everywhere!!!
I find these little tins so conveinent, they slide open so you dont have to hold the lid whilst appying, the lid stays attached...This doesnt sound much but the fact that you cant lose the lid or drop it is a bonus for me!!!

Each lip gloss tin smells different, my favorite smell is candy fix as it smells like chocolate!!! each tin is also tinted, my favorite tint is cherry bomb, its a nice subtle red which is perfect for those work days when you want to vamp it up but not too much...

All in all I find these little 11g tins amazing, they keep my lips nice and mosturised, smell gorgeous, have a super tint just subtle enough for everyday wear and wait for it...Cost a mere £1.50!!!

Like I say I have lots of these all over the place and at £1.50 who wouldn't!!!

elf again you impress!!!

Hope you found this helpful!

Number 9 Product Well Products!!!

Hi All

Sorry in the delay of my number 9 product, been quite hectic with work and other hobbies that have taken me away from my countdown!

Ok so in at number 9 is actually 2 products but used together they are amazing!!!

Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo and conditioner

These products smell devine (almost bubble gum sweet!!!) and are very light in desity, especially the conditioner which is the lightest I have ever found!!! with macadamia nut extract that promises to condition and certianly doesnt fail!!!
I have a naturally dry scalp and so if a product is to harsh, abbrasive or heavy I get really bad dandruff...Not attractive!!! However I have been using Aussie on and off for 3 years and I might try new products but I always go back to this trusted brand because I have never had any trouble with it, I used another product for a few months recently and my hair was like straw, as soon as I went back to Aussie I noticed an immidiate difference and after a few months my hair is back in good condition.

A few personal tips for hair washing...
  • Try not to wash your hair everyday, I wash mine 1 day leave it a day and wash again on the 3rd day...Sounds dirty or horrible??? Well if you wash your hair too often it doesnt have the time to produce all those good natural oils...and without them your hair will weaken and break more easily
  • When applying conditioner dont over do it...Less is more use too much and you will experience dandruff grease and if you dont was it out thoughly then the hair cant breath
  • Apply an intensive conditioner at least once a week (I use Aussie 3 min miracle)
  • Brush your hair before you wash it, this will help with combing after, less breakages!!!
Hope you enjoyed reading, please comment!

In at Number 10!

Ok so as previously mentinoned in the comming weeks I will be counting down my top 10 beauty buys.

In at number 10 we have  e.l.f (eyes lips face) Waterproof Lengthening & Volmizing Mascara from the studio line which can be purchased here

http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/

This was one of the first products that I purchased from this online store (which is animal friendly), It boasts great products at low prices (its tagline being where beauty meets value). To say that I am impressed by the e.l.f brand is an understatement!!! As you will find out this site changed my perspective on the beauty world, sometimes the best products do not need to cost the earth!

Anyway more on the brand to come...Back to the Mascara!!!

At £3.50 containing 7g of product this one of the best mascara's I have ever owned, I have sensitive eyes, I'm a contact lens wearer and I also have a prosthetic eye so I need a product that will not irritate my eyes over prolonged use, I wear this every day and it is amazing for me.

It is a very pigmented mascara, black as black can get, doesnt smell like marzipan (one of my pet pev's when it comes to mascara!!!), I have not had it clog on, the brush is small for precision use, I can safely say I can wear this mascara for 10 hours without flaking or irritation!!!

At £3.50 what have you got to lose trying it...
